For your most demanding applications, we offer magnetic hotplate stirrer units with a max rotational speed of up to 1500 rpm. You won’t have to worry about falling short in speeding up your samples’ reactions. We also have magnetic hotplate stirrers for low-volume, day-to-day mixing tasks.

Need to mix more than one mixture at a time? We have magnetic stirrers with 4 or 10 stirring positions. Our product line also includes digital hotplates, digital magnetic stirrers, and digital magnetic hotplate stirrers.

HOMOGENIZER

Scilogex

SCILOGEX Homogenizers are simple and easy to handle and have the ability to achieve quality results quickly. Our range has the speed and power to emulsify, suspend, cut and chop delivering accurate results with the flexibility to hold either by hand or mounted on a stand. The material is repeatedly cycled through narrow slits in the stator where it is rapidly sheared and disintegrated by high shear mechanical action. Complete homogenization of tissues (muscle, liver, breast tissue, etc.) is usually achieved in a few seconds. Little, if any, heat is produced during the process. During operation, the suspended material is drawn into the core of the homogenizer by a rotor turning at up to 30,000 rpm. 

ROTARY EVAPORATOR

Scilogex Rotary Evaporators feature large easy to read digital and LCD & LED displays, controlling temperature, rotation speed and time. Some models feature motorized towers and range from 5L to 20L capacities. Vertical coil condenser or vertical dry-ice condensers are available for water and oil use to a maximum temperature to 180˚C. 

OVERHEAD STIRRER

Scilogex offers two efficient and carefully controlled digital overhead stirrer models for the safe and effective mixing of large volumes of liquids.

LCD and LED Digital overhead stirrer models offer considerable functionality that would not be available on a standard analog overhead stirrer. For example, the Scilogex LCD digital lab stirrers allow the user to set the required torque and speed, and observe the true values of the torque and speed on an easy-to-read LCD display. They also have RS232 for control by PC. Free software available. An accurate microprocessor controls stirring speed and guarantees precision in the speeds achieved by the laboratory stirrer, while an anti-spill microprocessor control ensures the slow start up of speed to prevent sample spills. The LED model provides a precise display of the actual speed which is selected via an analog dial.
